For our first project this spring, we’re making MOVIE POSTERS for our favorite books!
We’ll make these posters using Canva, a free browser-based design tool. Canva has a pre-sized poster option you can use. It also has lots of templates to get you started.

Gimp is a free, open-source graphics editor that can be installed on Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems. Gimp is installed on all of the PNG Thinkpad laptops. You can use Gimp to create and edit photographs, icons – you name it! Gimp is a very powerful tool and is widely considered the best free alternative to Photoshop.

PROCREATE
Procreate is graphics editor app for digital painting. Procreate is installed on all of the iPads. It is especially good for use with the Apple Pencils; we also have styluses to use with the iPads.

PHYSICAL ART
You can also draw art for your posters. We can scan them and edit them digitally!
